WILLOWTIP is proud to announce the signing of Italy 's
ILLOGICIST . Formed in 1997, "
ILLOGICIST is a violent sonic combination of
technical ability, rhythmic asymmetry, melodic sickness, and
lyrical frustration, created to reflect a dynamic and emotional
vision of suffering and introspection". The band is set to enter
Aosta , Italy 's Dissonant Studio (owned by
ILLOGICIST guitarist/vocalist Luca Minieri) in
January 2007 to record their 2nd overall full-length and
first for Willowtip, The Insight Eye. Joining
ILLOGICIST in the recording of The Insight
Eye will be the "legend of extreme drumming" Marco
Minneman . The album will contain 9 tracks of
ILLOGICIST 's style of violent, progressive death
metal .

The bands previous release, Subjected , was released by
Crash Music in 2004. Artwork for The Insight Eye is
being handled by horror artist Mike Bohatch (www.eyesofchaos.com)
The band is still looking for a drummer for future shows in 2007
and for a European and American tour in support of the upcoming
